To help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Port Isabel Lighthouse, 4 book marks have been designed and are available in limited quantities at Treasures of the Gulf Museum Gift Shop and Port Isabel Historic Museum Gift Shop. The bookmarks feature photography of the architectural stylings of the lighthouse, exterior shots under different lighting conditions, and historic photos of the landmark. On the reverse of each is a brief history and interesting facts.
“Culinary Treasures of the Laguna Madre”, a cookbook compiled by Laguna Madre Museum Foundation, has been completed and is now on sale at the Port Isabel Historic Gift Shop.
Chapter dividers feature photos and advertising of some of the local eateries from the 1920’s to the 1960’s.
